This paper presents a study on the design and fabrication of a Wilkinson power divider/combiner (WPD) with wideband performance (2-6 GHz), good return loss, and high isolation. To achieve wideband performance, design parameters and simulation results are examined, along with theoretical analyses and experimental findings. During the electromagnetic (EM) simulation process following the schematic design, two different EM simulation approaches are employed: the Finite Element Method (FEM) and the Method of Moments (MoM). The accuracy of the design results is evaluated by comparing them with prototype fabrication and measurement results. Experimental results demonstrate that within the 2-6 GHz frequency range, input and output return losses are lower than -13 dB and -18 dB, respectively, insertion loss is approximately -0.32 dB, and isolation better than -21 dB is achieved.
