Endülüslü âlim Kadı Ebubekir İbn Arabî, el-Avâsım mine’l-Kavâsım adlı eserinde, İslam tarihinde Hz. Muhammed(a.s.)’in vefatından, Hz. Hüseyin’in Kerbelâ Vakası’nda şehit edilmesine kadar olan dönem içerisinde meydana gelen olayları ele almıştır. Bu bağlamda onun, ilk İslâm halifeleri döneminde cereyan eden, özellikle tartışmalı konularla ilgili değerlendirmeleri önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle onun hayatı ve eserlerine kısaca değinilecek, ardından ilk İslam halifeleri dönemiyle ilgili görüşlerinden hareketle tarihçiliği ele alınacaktır.
The Andalusian scholar Qadi Abu Bakr ibn Arabi, in his work al-Awâsim mine’l-Qawâsim, addresses the events that occurred in Islamic history from the death of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to the martyrdom of Hussein in the Battle of Karbala. In this context, his assessments of events that took place during the era of the first Islamic caliphs, particularly those concerning controversial issues, are significant. This study will first briefly touch upon his life and works, then examine his historiography based on his views regarding the era of the first Islamic caliphs.
