Software Defined Networks (SDN) is a new architectural approach that has emerged in recent years. OpenFlow protocol allows the implementation of special routing algorithms for different applications and services (VoIP, Online Gaming, IPTV, video conferencing, High definition video streaming etc.). Although the SDN approach is foreseen to replace traditional network solutions, existing OpenFlow networks do not have a rule definition that can dynamically measure latency to effectively implement QoS policies. In this study, we use a measurement method that can solve SDN QoS problem. In the tests performed, a measurement accuracy of more than 90% was obtained. With this method, especially in applications such as VoIP, where latency is important, the controller will be able to direct the route that will give the best performance.
